Starting a vanpool is free for Centene employees. At no cost to employees, the lease to rent an Enterprise vehicle month-to-month is paid for by Hines. To assist employees with fuel costs, The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) will subsidize your newly formed vanpool for a six-month period or a twelve-month period, up to $300 per month. The Emergency Ride Home is a unique program designed to give commuters a piece of mind for those who commute to work using alternative modes of transport besides driving alone. If you use transit, carpool, bike, vanpool or walk to work at least three times a week and experience a midday emergency, take a taxi or rental car home and receive a voucher for this expense.
